Pittsburgh fitness coaches, Jon Carter and Matt Donlin, came together to create an effective training experience for everyone. Here, we think fitness should be part of your life, not your entire life. Our vision for JAM Pittsburgh Fitness Coaching is to create opportunities for you to live your best life.

Founder and Pittsburgh Fitness Coach

Jon Carter

Jon’s passion for helping people and fitness led him to his career and founding JAM Fitness.

Jon played football throughout his high school years while also participating in recreational sports like basketball and riding his mountain bike. He developed his love for training early on with football and continued after high school. Always having a battle with his weight through childhood and adolescent years, in 2012 he went on to lose 90 lbs in 5 months. While understanding the struggles of maintaining a weight he was comfortable with, he wanted to make sure he could support others going through the same journey. His passion for helping people and fitness led him to his career and founding JAM Fitness.

Founder and Pittsburgh Fitness Coach

Matt Donlin

Matt is a NASM certified personal trainer and a co-founder of JAM Fitness Coaching.

He is also a proud graduate of University of Toledo, and has 5 years of experience training individual clients, large group settings, and high school athletics. He loves coffee, bad jokes, and dogs. You can always get out of burpees by mentioning the above topics among other nerdy subjects like math, Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Star Wars.
